The Taste Of Citrus On My Tongue
Size – 61 x 45.5cm
[canvas depth - 3.5cm]
Original abstract artwork
Acrylic and oil stick, on canvas
This piece is part of the Luminous collection, which is inspired by the jewel-toned colours of the sun at dusk. I often gaze out of my windows in the evening, across the London skyline, absorbing the mercurial beauty of the setting sun. Yellow and orange hues energise me, and never cease to lift my mood. I am naturally drawn to work with these colours, and the fluid nature of the light as it moves across the sky is an endless source of wonder which I seek to convey in this series.
